Job Report - CLAAS SCORPION - More dynamic loading with the ICVD

Telescopic loaders are a relatively new machine category in agriculture and construction, and have asserted themselves in numerous applications in recent years.

They are increasingly replacing conventional loading concepts based on front
loaders, for example, and offer considerably greater efficiency in almost all loading and transport jobs. Overhead loading heights are also no problem.
One of the most successful models in this segment is the CLAAS SCORPION, which is characterised by more than just its high loading capacity, compact design and great manoeuverability. Another particular technical highlight is its intelligent Varipower Drive, for which CLAAS chose ICVD® technology from GKN Walterscheid.

The hydrostatic drive offers numerous technical advantages, which we talked
about with Michael Rüther, CLAAS Product Manager OEM Products and the man
responsible for the development and marketing of the SCORPION.

Job Report Kramer - Continous is the better choice

Berthold Aicheler started his self-employment in 1987 in Stockach with a construction machines business. In doing so, he initially focussed on the sale of used machines. There were mainly then (as also today) Kramer wheel loaders on the lot.

Aicheler is very familiar with these machines as he was an employee of the company for many years.

Since 1995, the qualifi ed agricultural engineer has also been active in the new business. Berthold Aicheler is an authorised dealer for Kramer and Neuson; he has Bomag compaction technology and attachments from Tuchel and Bema in the range. Berthold Aicheler quickly recognised the requirement of the agricultural sector for suitable wheel loaders, for example for transportation work. And because Aicheler as the son from a farming family understands the language of the farmers, he quickly gained a foothold there. In the meantime, 30 % of his new machines business is generated from the agricultural sector.

Job Report Rigitrac - And a Swiss company has scored again!

The agricultural machines engineer from Küssnacht am Rigi relied exclusively on
his own expertise and on quality components when he started to develop his own and the to date only Swiss tractor brand. “I have put a lot of capital into Rigitrac”, remembers Knüsel, “that was not only courageous but almost crazy. Yet, the success proves me right. We are starting to show positive fi gures”.

In doing so, Knüsel is not relying on a home advantage. Even patriotic, Swiss farmers calculate carefully. In order to be able to meet the highest requirements, Sepp Knüsel set the standard high during the two years of development. “Therefore, I have also made no compromises for the choice of the bought-in components for the jump from nothing to the comfort tractor”, explains Knüsel. “The Rigitrac should be able to compete with branded tractors from the fi rst hour of usage”.
